The Faculty of International Relations at the University of Białystok was established on September 1, 2023. Since its beginning, it has been dynamically developing its educational and research offer, emphasizing an interdisciplinary approach to teaching and international cooperation.
The Faculty has the right to award doctoral and postdoctoral degrees in the field of social sciences, in the discipline of international relations. This is a testament to the high quality of research and the commitment of the academic staff to scientific development.
The structure of Faculty consists of two Institutes:
Institute of Eastern Studies and International Political Relations
- Department of Quantitative and Geospatial Research
- Centre for Political Science Research
- Department of History of International Relations and Diplomacy
Institute of Foreign Policy and International Security
- Department of International Security
- Department of Foreign Policy
Each of them focuses on specific research areas, offering students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in selected fields: international security and Eastern and Far Eastern studies.
The Faculty actively participates in the Erasmus+ program, enabling students and employees to exchange internationally and gain experience in foreign academic centers. In addition, it cooperates with numerous scientific and research institutions around the world, which facilitates the implementation of joint projects and scientific initiatives.
Faculty is located in the modern campus of the University of Białystok, in the building of the Faculty of Chemistry at ul. Konstantego Ciołkowskiego 1K. The campus is an academic center that promotes interdisciplinary cooperation, providing students and academics with excellent conditions for learning, research and professional development.
